Holiday Inn Gaithersburg By Ihg

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in on a vacation. We ate late supper and breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and it was excellent food for the price and the portions were more than adequate. Location was right off of the interstate and easy to find. It was close to the Metra into DC.Staff was always smiling and helpful.

The restaurant is great for meals after 9 pm.

Hairdryer attachment to wall broke, no fan in bathroom, and if you turned facet on too much, it went all over the counter. Difficult getting in and out of parking lot, because different areas were roped off. Seem very outdated. Windows very dirty, and difficult to look out of.

Hotel was good, we liked it even though it was a short stay.

The front desk agent was really unfriendly and unprofessional. He argued and delayed us for no reason.we had made our reservation online before we got there so really there was no reason to argue or delay us. We were tired and just needed to get to bed.it's either he need more training or he's just not the guy for the job.

Close to parents home in Gaithersburgh

Staff at desk was unable to tell what tv networks (channels) unaware..... Room was dirty behind chair (chips on floor) room had to be re-vacumed Television had poor clarity, had to call maintenance to service reception (poor) WiFi never worked....

My Cousin and I liked just about everything

The AC was not cool enough in the room. We all slept without blankets and the pool didnt open until 10 which killed our potential morning dip but everything else was really great.

The pool was great. The gym had decent equipment, and they offered free Wi-Fi. I really enjoyed the spacious king room, which wassuper clean and cozy. The quote from another guest about the pleasant stay resonated with me, I felt right at home.

the lobby and room were pretty good

My son had trouble getting breakfast by himself but they later gave us free breakfast because of that.

Didn't eat at the hotel. My wife's allergies started acting up during the night. I Don't know if it was the air in the room or what. Clean sheets and bathroom. The shower water is like a fire hose.

great access to parks and local eateries for weekend strolling

I appreciated the friendly service and the nearby parks that were perfect for a leisurely walk, especially with Travis Park being just a short stroll away. It's worth noting that the parking area could use better lighting for late-night arrivals.

The location is marvellous, 2 miles from Bohrer Park. It is found in a beautiful area.

I appreciated the convenient layout of the hotel, easy for me to navigate. The hallways were short, and the staff was attentive, promptly providing extra amenities when needed.

Room cleaning could be improved for longer stays.
